Dundee University - Fulton Building

The works comprised of Internal and external alterations to the building as required for M&E and for the upgrading of the East elevation. Additional new loading bay complete with surrounds roofing and roller shutter:

Overview

  • Concrete Repair works to the east elevation and High-level Ring beams.
  • Replacement of Curtain walling to existing workshop
  • Window and door replacements to the full east elevation including pedestrian and loading bay roller shutter.
  • Full over clad to the east elevation as per the Wilson Paul associates drawings along with the contractor’s design portion by our sub-contractor.
  • Newly formed loading area consisting of concrete foundations, structural steel, structural framed steel, roofing, internal boarding and cladding as per Wilson Paul and Morgan Associates drawings.
  • The design and install of free standing and façade fixed louvres.
  • Full strip out and installation of mechanical services to the high-level plant room and partial works within the basement.
  • Full strip out and installation of electrical services to the high-level plant room and basement.  
  • Internal building works including precast concrete to allow access through bison slabbed floors for mechanical alterations.
  • Fire proofing in association with building alterations.
  • Structural penetrations through nominated walls.
