Launched in 1993, Primero Contracts Ltd is now part of Primero Group Ltd and led by directors Bruce and Gordana Donnachie who completed a management buy-out in 2019 when the founding directors stepped down.

The company has been headquartered at West Pitkerro Industrial Estate in Dundee since 2002, and this continues to give our teams easy access to the rest of Scotland, the north of England, and beyond

Primero Contracts works with some of the UK’s leading names in retail, banking and finance, education, hospitality, leisure, and tourism, as well as with commercial and public sector clients looking for expert, pro-active problem-solvers who can be relied on to deliver complex projects on time and on budget.

Among our long-standing clients are the CYB Group (Clydesdale Bank, Yorkshire Bank, Virgin Money), TSB, Ladbrokes, TJ Morris (Home Bargains), Specsavers, and the University of Dundee. 

Based in Dundee, the bulk of our work takes us across Scotland and the north of England, but our clients also frequently select us for complex projects elsewhere in the UK and we have the depth and breadth of resources to go wherever we’re needed.

Our experienced team of 20+ full-time employees is further supported as needed by our regular preferred contractors

Primero Contracts has more than 20 permanent full-time staff, among them contract managers, quantity surveyors, shopfitters, site foremen, joiners, builders, and administrators

Every member of our team puts outstanding customer service and seamless project management at the heart of what they do, and this is matched by their commitment to maintaining the highest health and safety standards.

We are constantly supporting our staff by helping them upgrade their knowledge and skills through regular vocational and health and safety training, and our overarching business ethos is reflected in our workplace health, wellbeing and inclusivity policies.
